Why share your passion on the Nohô app?

You know how to do something that few people know how to do. Maybe you’ve been climbing for fifteen years, or you make pottery on the weekends, or you know every trail in your area like the back of your hand, or your profession fascinates others. On Nohô, that passion becomes the starting point for a connection.

The concept is simple: you open up your world to curious people who want only one thing to learn from you. We call them Nomads. You are the Host. And between the two of you, it’s not a traditional service transaction it’s an exchange, a sharing of knowledge, a moment that neither of you will ever experience quite the same way anywhere else.

Why sharing your passion makes a difference

Passing on knowledge isn’t just about demonstrating a skill. It’s also about reclaiming it in a new way. Many Hosts say that explaining their passion to a fresh pair of eyes helps them rediscover why they love it.

There’s also the human dimension, which has been at the heart of the Nohô project since its inception: a simple encounter between strangers around a table or on a trail can be enough to forge a strong bond. It’s this conviction that gave rise to Nohô, and it’s what drives every encounter offered on the platform.

Finally, becoming a Host means making yourself visible. Your world reaches an audience that might never have found you otherwise people who are naturally curious and seeking authenticity rather than conventional tourism.

How to Create Your Listing: Simplicity Above All

This is undoubtedly the area where Nohô has put in the most work. Creating a listing requires no technical skills, no initial budget, and no long wait before you can get started.

Here’s how it works in practice:

  1. Describe your experience. The location, the format, and what you’re offering your Nomads. No need for a perfect description the important thing is that your passion comes through.
  2. Set your price. Nohô gives you the freedom to choose the price for your experience, with a set minimum to ensure that every experience remains accessible.
  3. Enter your availability. You choose the time slots that work for you, based on your schedule.
  4. Your listing is published. It appears in Nomads’ search results, categorized by your passion and location.

All of this is free, with no commitment, and you can even create your listing before finalizing your account. Once a gathering is booked, you receive the corresponding payment, after Nohô’s commission has been deducted.

Real-life examples to inspire you

Nohô brings together five major areas of passion, and each one can lead to a different kind of encounter. Here’s how some real-life Hosts have done it:

  • Nature. Maïté, a naturopath in Calais, helps people discover the medicinal plants we pass by without noticing them during a walk open to everyone including children and strollers.
  • Sports. Tristan, a traditional Kung Fu instructor in Sète, shares the culture and history of three Chinese styles that he went to learn firsthand in China.
  • Profession. Laetitia, a certified ceramicist for over 20 years, opens her studio near Châteaudun for an introduction to pottery, with the piece you shape returned to you once it’s fired.
  • Art. Mr. Bolderline, a self-taught artist in the Île-de-France region, offers an immersion into his free and instinctive creativity no drawing skills required.
  • Leisure. Morfé, a private pilot since the age of 17, opens the doors to light aviation at the Rennes airport, from takeoff to stepping into the cockpit.

In each case, this isn’t a lecture. It’s an encounter with a Host who shares what they know best. At the end of each encounter, the Nomads leave with more than just a souvenir photo. You can find their full stories and many others on Le Mag des passionnés.
