Speaking in public, playing a role, asserting oneself in front of a group… Eric knows these situations—which terrify so many of us—like the back of his hand. For over 40 years, this actor, director, and theater teacher has seen it all: major tours, historical plays, cabaret, and musical theater. Now based in Montpellier, he puts all this experience to work for those who want to overcome their inhibitions, find their voice, and speak with confidence. On Nohô, he opens the door to this world for anyone ready to take the plunge.
I’ve been directing for nearly 40 years, and I’m also a theater teacher. Since 2020, I’ve run my own business offering public speaking training, as well as life coaching in personal development—for which I hold a Master’s degree. And I teach theater to amateurs, semi-professionals, and professionals alike.
I’ve done a lot of touring and big shows—whether historical performances, cabaret shows, or light comedies. I’ve performed just about everywhere. I’m also an artist coach, and I’ve even been a manager. In particular, I’m currently working with a female comedian whose latest show I directed; she’s currently touring in Paris at the Divine Comédie. I offer my 40 years of experience to everyone, whether they’re individuals or professionals in the arts.
Everyone. Whether they’re amateurs, professionals, or people who need it for their careers. I work with students as well as business leaders, speakers, and even politicians. I adapt to each person’s profile and specific challenges.
Everything related to public speaking: working on diction, pronunciation, self-confidence, self-esteem, and knowing how to behave on stage in front of an audience. We’ll work on fears and anything else that might cause difficulties for each person. I use all theatrical techniques, as well as video footage, to analyze what’s working, what isn’t, and what needs to be corrected.
On Nohô, some encounters make a real difference. Eric’s is one of them. Because learning to speak up, to assert yourself, and to command a room isn’t just for actors. It’s a skill anyone can develop—as long as they have the right guidance. With 40 years of stage experience under his belt, Eric knows exactly where to look for what’s holding you back—and how to break through it. An hour with him in Montpellier can be enough to change the way you perceive your own voice.
